Dr. Anand S Dank dreamed of becoming a Neurosurgeon since his childhood days. The dreams became reality when he completed his neurosurgical training in 2010 and commenced work as an Assistant Professor under Dr. Deepak Palande and Dr. Vernon Velho in the Department of Neurosurgery of Sir JJ Group of Hospitals in Mumbai. Today he practises as a Consultant Neurosurgeon in Aurangabad, specialising in neuro-oncology, skull base surgery, spine surgery, and functional and epilepsy surgery.

Dr. Anand Dank earlier trained under Dr. Keki Turel, Dr. CE Deopujari and Dr. Uday Andar at Bombay Hospital. Dr. Dank also had the privilege of working with Prof. Kenji Ohata during Skull Base Training at Osaka in Japan. He further gained considerable knowledge and experience during his WFNS Fellowship in the Department of Neurology at Tuebingen University in Germany under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. M Tatagiba.

On return to India Dr. Anand Dank worked as an independent Consultant Neurosurgeon at Vikram Hospital in Mysore. Since June 2013 he has been heading the Department of Neurosurgery at Seth Nandlal Dhoot Hospital in Aurangabad. The department is well equipped to handle all kinds of neurological problems. Dr. Dank manages 120-140 neurological cases, covering the whole spectrum of brain and spine surgeries. Dr. Dank is also attached with Shradha Hospital as Visiting Consultant.
